To Set Up: Go to "Settings" > "Integration"

Then, scroll to the 'Google Calendar Integration' section.

Step 1: Connect Your Google Account

  • Click the "Set up Google Calendar Integration" button
  • Click the "Sign in with Google" button and follow on screen instructions to sign in to your Google Account
  • If you want to specify a specific calendar within your Google Account to connect with, enter the "Google Calendar ID".  If no ID is provided, PPM will connect with your Default Google Calendar.  (Not sure how to obtain your Google Calendar ID?  Learn how here)

Step 2: Pick your Integration Mode

There are three modes for your Google Calendar Integration you can choose:

1. Inbound integration

In 'Inbound' mode, events from the connected Google calendar will be directly overlaid on your PPM calendar. You will then be able to easily import them individually, converting them into full PPM bookings.

This feature is particularly helpful when "moving in" to PPM. If you have all your events currently booked already saved in a Google Calendar, activate this Inbound integration so that you can easily see ALL of your bookings in one place

2. Outbound integration

In 'Outbound' mode, new/updated PPM enquiries/bookings will have corresponding events created in the linked Google calendar.

NOTE: Events that were previously in your PPM calendar will not be automatically sent to your Google Calendar until you either: (1) Make any update to that event, or (2) Click the "Re-sync" button found within the Event Editor by going to 'Utilities' (wrench/screwdriver icon) > 'Google Calendar Sync'

3. Disabled

This mode temporarily or permanently disables your integration.

Step 3: Customise your outbound integration

  • Choose which booking statuses will be copied to your Google Calendar (2 options)
    • "Enquiry being processed, Awaiting deposit, Booking secured, Balanced Settled"
    • "Only Booking secured and Balanced settled"
  • Event summary format | for private events
    • Using placeholders, you can customise the information included in your event summary on Google Calander
  • Event summary format | for corporate events
